I guess, when they thought of Egypt being in the "Middle East" they excluded Africa right away. Just a common sense. As for the Nile... you expect too much, my friend. There are two major rivers in Mesopotamia, and one of them could be the Nile... Who knows? You spend too much time over the useless geography maps. Get outdoors, have a beer, catch some good game!
