Sometimes it seems to me that there was to countries named USSR in the world. The one where I was born and raised and the other one wich is now can be seen in many movies and clips like that one. I don't like socialism and dont want to return the soviet era but it's the part of my childhood and it was nothing like that. So, not funny, sorry. Bat it wasn't made for me, I think for western viewers it's hilarious (and comments on YouTube confirm this)

Sorry for spoiling your joke.

You know, "Pigfaceboy" seems to be an English band. The difference between English and Russian "humor" and mentality is that when the Englishman would say 'oh, come off it!", the Russian would hit the opponent's face, since he would feel it's offensive. On the other side, Russians don't enjoy blaming others.

Another cultural example is movies. When Rambo massacred Russians big time, downing helicopters by a bow and arrow, Soviet cinema didn't have anything that stupid and aggressive to Americans, even during the Cold War.

You know, in the Soviet Union we've been taught that all people are brothers.

However, the recent cultural counterstrike (a la guerre comme a la guerre) that some people enjoy (I don't) is Zadornov's "ну они тупы-ы-е":
