Thread: 130 кошки

У меня есть три кошки - серая, жёлтая, и чёрная и белая. У меня достаточно (that's enough for me).

Но сто тридцать кошки? В две комнатых? Я никогда не хочу убирать там.

Это видео - смешное и грустное вместе. Сначал смешное - кошки попкорные (popcorn cats!) но грустное почему то столько кошк без дома.

I keep trying to visualize how she keeps the place clean - herd cats in one room, clean....herd cats into other room, clean.

the expression "three dog night" (a very cold night, you need 3 dogs to keep warm. It was also the name of a rock group from my generation) takes on a new meaning, too!

Then, you cannot simply translate it into попкорные кошки because many Russians will understand it as "cats made of popcorn" and the rest will not understand even this "visualization".
