And at least this one gives the impression it's just a JPEG, which imo is better for scaring the crap out of people. Luckily I always have scripting disabled by default and ruined my friend's attempt to play a joke on me.
Why didn't IE ask for permission as it does before downloading a file? I thought it wasn't possible to access devices via html, or is it just for a CDROM?

On IE lots of things that are not suppost to be possable are.
for a good laugh, install windows xp, then run auto update, and have a look at what it wants to update. Theres like 4 pages of IE security fixes.
The only thing I use IE for is downloading Mozilla.
