I do not know what to write about!

Сегодня утром я ездил в банк на машине.
This morning I went to the bank (I am home again).

По дороге туда я увидел старую подругу. Её зовут Анна.
On the way there I saw an old girlfriend. Her name is Anna.

Сейчас она похожа на Клинта Иствуда!
She looks like Clint Eastwood now!

Она не такая красивая, как раньше!
She is not as beautiful as she used to be!

Когда я был в банке, я пел английские песни.
I sang English songs while I was in the bank.

Я смеялся много!
I laughed a lot!

В течение этого времени я думал о мой друге - Владимир.
During this time (while in the bank), I thought about my friend, Vladimir.

Он художник, которого работает в институт.
He is an artist who works at an institution.

Долго мой сосед писал поэзий.
My neighbour wrote poetry for a long time.

Есть порт ближе к моей работе.
There is a port near to my place of work.

Многие людей работают там.
Many people work there.

Тут лучше употребить "Пока" я был в банке, я пел английские песни.
I sang English songs while I was in the bank.

Я много смеялся! Normal Russian word order - SVO (subject-verb-object) so it'll be better to aspire to it,
I laughed a lot!

В течение этого времени я думал о мой друге Владимирe.
During this time (while in the bank), I thought about my friend, Vladimir.

Он художник, который работает в институте.
He is an artist who works at an institution.

Мой сосед писал стихи долгое время.
My neighbour wrote poetry for a long time.

Близко к месту моей работы есть порт.
There is a port near to my place of work.

Многo людей работают там.
Many people work there.

Вот мои варианты перевода некоторых предложений (остальные предложения идеально перевёл Daniel) :

Вспоминал своего друга Владимира.

He is an artist who works at an institution.
Он работает в институте художником.

There is a port near to my place of work.
Я работаю недалеко от порта. ("есть порт" как бы намекает, что порты как магазины - встречаются на каждом углу, и вот рядом с моей работой также находится один из таких портов. Как я понимаю, порт - это что-то большое и поэтому "работа рядом с портом", а не "порт рядом с работой")

Grammatically correct but "Всем привет" sounds more natural. И тебе привет.

Again is more often translated as "снова".
When the word order is direct usually the subordinate word precedes the main one. Adjective precedes the noun, adverb precedes the verb. You are narrating, you don't need to emphasize anything with the help of the word order, so it should be direct.
The comma stands before the conjunction "чтобы", not after.

Narration, direct word order. It is not a mistake but makes the speach more natural.

Думать о + prepositiponal. So all the words that are related to this verb must be in Prep case.

This word "который/которая/которое/которые" is tricky. It takes the gender of the preceiding noun but its case is provided by the following verb.

Девушка (feminine), которую (feminine + Accusative) я люблю (люблю + Accusative).
Пальто (neuter), которое (neuter nominative) у меня есть (есть + Nom case).

When you see "there is/are..." start to translate the sentence into Russian from the end of it.
