"Всё равно. Русских фильмов для взрослых людей нет."

Jenny speaks Russian without accent, but some words are not thoroughly articulated (Нарния instead of Нарнии). I often speak like this when I am sleepy or drunk

She definitely has an accent. When she says "для взрослых людей", her Л's do not sound Russian. In "взрослых" I hear a semi-soft Л instead of the proper hard Л, it sounds more like "взрослих". "Лю" in "людей" is a bit unnatural as well. But in "взрослых" it is highly noticeable.

    Does anybody else confirm that?

Thanks for answers. However no doubt it is not particularly important for Russian speaking people I find sometimes a pronounciation somewhat strange with soft л. Thank you.

Sorry, I didn't understand. What do you find strange?

Yes, I've noticed it too. She has a slight accent in some words, but overall her pronunciation is almost perfect. She's probably a native speaker who immigrated to English-speaking country at an early age, or speaks Russian at home routinely. Or she is a very talented RSL learner.

Here are some words that I have writen like "strange" pronounciatios: Флóрида pronounced Фóрида; весёлый like весёй; младший like моадший; хдеб like хреб. It must be the result of interactuaction between consonants and vowels rather important in Russian. Thanks.

You mean in this recording they are pronounced like that?

Флорида is pronounced with the second syllable stressed in Russian as well as in Spanish.

    a) All these prononciations have been heard in this course, in Golosa, but not in this lesson. Every time I hear a strange pronounciation I write it down to help the next time.
    b) As for Florida, it was stressed like I write: Flórida; perhaps in North America... In a visit of one of our presidents, and pronouncing a speech before Bush there in Miami he said also "Flórida" and it has been source of many jokes in Spain.
    Thanks and спокойной ночи.

Флорида pronounced with stress on и in Russian and it is a rule for all geographic names ending with -ида: Атлантида, Антарктида, Таврида, Эрида.
