    Soft consonants

    Hi all,

I have a lot of trouble making the soft 'р' sound in Russian.

If I say, "ръядом" instead of "рядом", for instance, will I be misunderstood? How bad is it?

    Thanks for the help.

No you won't. It sounds like "n'year" instead of "near".

well if a russian guy came up to me and was like "Harrow! I are n'year a macadanalds? no?" I'd be like, yea buddy, its right over there! And then he'd say 'sank you very mach" and i'd understand him perfectly fine. So yea i think if ur russian is OK then yea they will understand what you mean.

And I'd rather correct this: Undehstent
