Looks like all those awkward sentences from Pimsleur.
In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

The point was discussed many times in "Getting Started with Russian" forum, in Pimsleur dialogues threads. Yes, most phrases from Pimsleur sound very strange and odd, and people NEVER talk like that in real life.Originally Posted by SoftPretzel

Oh, wow. I hate to hear that Pimsleur uses some strange wording, but looking at the threads in that particular forum proves very useful to me in trying to figure out what is being said sometimes on the Pimsleur lessons! I wish I had known about these threads earlier
