Yup, it sounds like the "Б" is almost silent.
And the -Я at the end is clearer "-ya" and not so much like "a" as I had thought.

I hope there aren't too many words like this!
I CAN pronounce "взгляд", but only if I I really concentrate... If there is more than one word like this in a sentence, then I won't be able to manage it while speaking at a normal speed...

And we should not forget Georgian, of course.
E.g., a Georgian grammar term "screeve" (a verb conjugation paradigm) is just an adaptation of a Georgian word "mtskrivi" (мцкриви) which is completely odd for English (and not only English) speakers.

Wowik...what a great word. I'd never encountered that one, and i just read it out loud for my girlfriend. She burst out laughing. She says it's better to stick with Пукнуть...or better yet, do neither of them. (Ну, хоть не в квартире!)
