What atmoshpere!? A load of teenagers talking all the way through the film. I must say Russians (and probably Ukrainians) really lack cinema etiquette. The number of times I saw people answer their phones in cinemas during films in Russia. Кошмар! And devushki, they just talk to eachother all the way through.

I've never seen anything like that :lol:
But probaby because the only cinema near my home is Стрела (Moscow) where tickets cost over 1000 roubles. No sane teenager would go there even if he had the money, I'm afraid. And my favourite time to go is 2 a.m. Sometimes, you sit in there alone :)

Я не люблю пить пиво в кинотеатре, потому что потом пиво начинает давить на мочевой пузырь и надо поднимать ж. и идти по нужде.

I was at a reading by V.Voinovich and was surprised by behaviour the people, most of who were over 50 and 60. As the reading started they put some foil on their knees and some sweets and sandwiches on the foil. And ate their food commenting loudly about what was going on the scene. Everywhere mobile trills were coming and actor Smekhov even stopped his reciting and reproved to those with loud cellphones that he was being accompanied by mobile melodies... I was forced to change the seat because I couldn't hear Voinovich because of the voices behind me. :D

I'm telling you that I probably won't be able to watch movies I like in the theater - you tell me to stay at home and watch DVD.
I'm telling you "It's not the same" - you tell me "Who cares? Your theaters suck anyway".
Thank you very much. You're a well of wisdom. Probably you have a chance to fill some post in our government.

And the audience in the theatre depends on the movie you watch. If you went to some crap like "American Pie 3" or "Scary Movie 4"... Well, you did it with your eyes open. More decent movies attract more sane people.

And sometimes I sleep in cinema :) A nice relatively quiet and dark place and nobody to disturb you :D

Oh, well, my days in Moscow, such things never happened, everybody always was quiet at the cinemas, there were no cellphones, popcorn, colas and beers in movietheatre.
