    Moscow weathermen

It is all over the news that the Mayor of Moscow wants to start giving fines to weather men if their forecast turns out to be wrong. Is the average Mosccovite buying into this or what? I mean isn't this right out of the days when the king would behead his own men for any failure? Not to metion that the weather service is only using what ever apparatus is supplied to them by the city.

It is my impression that in St Petersburg whenever the meteorologists make an error in their forecast, thousands of people go to the Гидромедцентр Building to protest - they throw stones, burn effigies, etc. And I think that's right, to be like that - if the bespectacled eggheaded ponces lie to their own people they (the ponces) should be punished. Am I right or am I right? Don't you burn your weathermen at the stake?

Well, we would like to but our weathermen deserve it.

I heard that in New York City they have set up 250 sites for gathering atmospheric information so, the weathermen there should be able to get it right. In Moscow they say that there are only 3 of these sites. Perhaps the good citizens of Moscow should throw sticks and stones and possibly even catapult a few cows at City Hall where their Mayor supposedly works. Then maybe someone will update the weathermen's equipment.
