For me it also wasn't good at first. But you can do the following steps:
1) quote the post
2) copy the link and open it in a new window of your browser - the picture should appear
3) go to this thread once again (you may have to refresh the browser) - and the picture will show here too.

Edit: I guess the target site goes down occasionally because now I can't see it again - so probably you just have to catch the right moment.
