I second what Ramil said.
Also - I am aware of the situation with the US Federal Reserve and I agree that it's set up in the way that DDT outlines.
BUT in light of that, don't you find it disturbing that those countries that don't want to play in this game (for ideological, religious or other reasons) are branded an "axis of evil", behind an "iron curtain" or subject to trade sanctions.... ?
And that the less developed countries are supposed to be willing and open for exploitation of their natural resources or cheap labour?
DDT - your country is protecting this world order! Even going to war for it.... Americans as well as millions of others have died in Korea, Vietnam, South America, Afghanistan, Iraq x2.
Doesn't this make you feel bad?
My problem with the USA is that it is the "leader of the pack" in this world order, with the UK (not my native country) as its' little puppy. Apparently, the first Iraq war was launched just weeks after Iraq had stated that it would abandon the dollar as payment for oil. Chance?
That's not to say that the US isn't a very innovative and driven country, full of energetic and mostly nice people. I think it's got many nice qualities. It's also VERY good at
PR / Marketing.
When people talk about "propaganda", well most of it is really amateurish compared with the fantastic
PR job that the US has pulled. Everyone thinks USA stands for freedom and democracy... To some degree that's true, but that's certainly not the truth for everyone in the US and it's also not true in many of the right-wing dictatorships that the US has supported in South America or the Taliban or even Saddam Hussein who was once in favour.... Also - it depends on how one defines the terms freedom and democracy.
So yes - it's not just the US ---- but the US is the driving engine.
