    Did you read the guy's sign? The teabaggers are not the ones "tracking down the differences." They are the ones who think fascist, communist and socialist all mean the same thing.

    But far be it for me to step on their rights to express their utter stupidity!

    Well, technically, they aren't exactly the same thing. Yet again, technically, more than just one term from the list can be applied to a person at the same time. There even have been precedents in history that show that. And the main point is, all the three terms denoting the social models mean something most of the people would normally avoid living in.

    So, it's natural that they get generalized into one term meaning what ppl in general try to keep away from. (including but not limited to, of course)

    No technical.... they are completely DIFFERENT things! Fascism is at the opposite end of the spectrum from Socialism, and Communism is a completely separate ideology.

    Good lord, please don't tell me I am the only American who knows this stuff!
