Crazy goings on in Ukranian parliament

The opposition decided to take over parliament after charges were brought against Yulia Timoshenko. "А по неписаному уставу Верховной рады, если блокируешь трибуну, будь готов получить по голове."

People from БЮТ are clowns. It's surprising how many people still support Timoshenko.

I don't understand what's happening, could someone explain?
What is it that they are so passionate about that they start fighting?

Although it looks unbelievably unprofessional, there is something sort of nice about people who care enough about politics to to start a fight... assuming it is not so that they can line their own pockets some more.

Time to start that "Ukranian Politics and Orange Revolution" thread, I think!

Seems like a mix of Ukrainian and Russian in this video; is it expected that everyone can understand both languages?

I see that the Ukrainian lawmakers finally decided to earn their pay by entertaining the people. )))
I wonder if such hilarous events are possible in our Duma these days.

It's not all that surprising considering the alternative - Yanukovich.
No, I'm not supporting her, or anybody else. But there are many people who cannot live in a political vacuum. They have to support somebody.
