Russia's abandoned spies in US and Canada are still nostalgic of the old Soviet Union basing on my interviews with some of them. (I do not blow their lids off nor report them to law enforcement agencies unless 'prompted by the all-omniscient intelligence agencies'). They still live that dream. I believe it is workable. Post-era Russian economy is not the same as those of Third World countries. It is much industrialized. A shift to Gorbachev's market socialism would make it more workable than the command economy. My 1 cent opinion and is not intended to be rude to anyone.
