Why does it seem like chiropractors are such loony assclowns? And where do you FIND this crap? Do you just google "america+crazy people+bullsh*t" or what?

And on a lingusitic note, you can't use "critics" (critics are people -- ie "Michael Moore is a critic of the Bush administration."). You could use either "criticism" or "a critique".

There is certain truth in some of it, but for the most part it's rubbish conspiracey theory.

The idea of conventional wisdom is true to a certain extent. I don't know why they didn't put "Jesus was the son of God on that list" though. :P

Like, most of the stuff on that list actually is true. They are saying all of them are lies. The last point actually is a lie but lots of Americans believe it. What isn't true is that the government made it up. The American government hasn't claimed Sadam Hussein had anything to do with 9/11, but Americans, with their fabulous knowledge of the world outside their borders and geography in general blur the whole Middle East together.

no, it's not bullsh|t. Most people are comfortable and don't want to scratch beneath the surface to see what's really going on. Check out http://rense.com/ for further perspectives of this sort.

I remember an episode from the Fahrenheit 9/11. There M. Moor was saying that a company had made the most reliable and solid safe and Americans prefered to have such saves and sit inside them taking no care of what was was going around.

However, many Americans travel around a lot, so we have to first subdivide the American society into those who never travell and those who love travelling and keeping in touch with people from different countries. Chatting mostly with those Americans who have worked in foreign countries or who simply like communicating with other people, I may say that those Americans have much sensitive in their views and they defenitely influense on the other part of US citizens. Perhaps, not as much as we would like to, but they do.

Yes. Because the reincarnation of Abe Lincoln and UFOs make for such a credible website.

Allow me to provide my take on this particular statement by Tim O'Shea (it certainly should have alarmed you right there):
    "...
    -Vitamin C is ascorbic acid.
-HIV is the cause of AIDS.
    ...
This is a list of illusions, that have cost billions to conjure up"

Here's my comment and a credible source

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/quer ... t=Abstract

The results suggest that the reported incidence rate of schizophrenic disorders (not to mention other mental diseases) constitutes about 0.5% of human population, which means that every 200th person suffers from this or that variety of schizophrenia. I bet there are more than just one of them yet to be diagnosed paranoid and overall delusional fellas posting nonsense on the web.

Even though the Tim-boy might be merely a sick dysfunctional person, who deserves nothing other than compassion and help, whatever he writes is not to be taken at face value.

And some of us drive across the border to buy their subsidized drugs that their taxpayers pay part of the fee for -- in that sense it DOES solve everything (ok, something).
