    целей

When Russians speaks very difficult to separate between цели and целей.
    They sound the same.

Not really. I can hear the difference alright. If anything, you can "deduce" the correct word from the other words in the sentence.
I do not claim that my opinion is absolutely true.
If you've spotted any mistake in my English, please, correct it. I want to be aware of any mistakes to efficiently eliminate them before they become a habit.

It could be that person is reluctant to say some ending sounds clearly.

    "ку" as greetings (jokingly).
"пепелац" as term for "flying transport", mostly for unusual or experemental ones.
"гравицапа" as term for "sophisticated device".
I heard or used these in person.

    Indeed.

Unstressed «ей» is very often pronounced as a simple [и]:

Different unstressed endings can often sound identical or even be “swallowed” in fast speech so one can distinguish between cases and numbers only by context.
    Please correct my English
