    объяснение

    что такое "по-человечиский"

I understand the literal translation, so don't give me a definition, but what exactly does this mean in english?

    Could you provide examples?

    спасибо!

    It depends on the context.

It can mean "humanely" or "(to explain something) in simple words", or "(to do something) properly".

    "Доктор Айболит говорил по-собачьи."

"Doctor Dolittle could speak in Canine-ese"

Note that по-собачьи would in most contexts be taken to mean "in a dog-like manner," but in a fantasy context, it can be understood as "in the language of dogs." In either case, however, there's no letter at the end of the construction.

P.S. In the Russian translations of Hugh Lofting's books, the doctor's surname became Айболит, which literally suggests "Ouch-it-hurts." (Arguably no worse a name for a doctor than "do little"!)

On Star Trek: The Next Generation, Data the Android говорил на человеческом языке, meaning, he spoke in a human language. (Which was known as "Federation Standard," and just happened to sound exactly like late-20th-century US English!!!).

But Data often had difficulty speaking по-человечиски. (Although he was programmed to communicate in human languages, he had difficulty with "natural colloquial speech".)

"Айболит" is not translation of Dolittle, but something like "adaptation" or "interpretation" and sometimes just "inspired by".
Translation of original book transliterates doctor's name as "Дулиттл".

Hmmm... what's the correct noun for the verb "сп**дить"?)))) Google only gives 7 hits for "сп**дение", which seems to me the most logical guess.

In English, you can say "a bastardization", but somehow I think it lacks the power of the Russian word.

P.S. I'm only joking, and mean no disrespect to Айболит!

It seems that there is no noun derived from this verb.
