    уцелевшие

    Can someone help me with this word in the following sentence? I couldn't figure out its infinitive form and meaning.

    НАТО восстановило мир в Косово, и уцелевшие беженцы обрели возможность вернуться на родину.

    It's nominative plural from уцелевший (тот, кто уцелел).
    Here, it means оставшиеся в живых (те, кто остался в живых). Who survived / Who escaped with their lifes.

    Уцелеть = остаться целым / невредимым.
    In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.
