The only difference between these words is which part of speech they are. Так is an adverb, so it describes a verb. Такой is an adjective, so it describes a noun, pronoun.

Let's take a closer look at your examples:

Иногда я так устаю что игнорирую будильник и продолжаю спать. Уставать is a verb and так describes the verb.
Он такой умный что он может понять все - Такой is an adjective. Он is a pronoun and такой describes the pronoun

    Another examples:

Я так люблю играть в футбол - (I love to play football so much) Любить is a verb, так is an adverb that describes the verb.
Такой прекрасный вид - (Such a beautiful view) Вид is a noun, and такой is an adjective that describes the noun

    I hope that helps

iCake you helped a lot now everything is 100% clear.

I just have one question based on the examples I wrote:
    2. Он такой умный что он может понять все = He is so clever that he can understand everything.
    3. Oн такой умный человек что он может понять все = He is such a clever person that he can understand everything.

In this case такой, which as you mentioned an adjective, means both "such" and "so" in the English translation? Correct?
