Pansy: баба, слабак, или что-то другое?

I'm looking for the current Russian word for “pansy.” In American English this word means a man who lacks strength, courage, or aggressiveness. (I've looked over previous posts that contain the word, and I want to clarify that it doesn't mean a homosexual per se.)

Will this be баба, слабак, or something else?

What is the emotional essence of "pansy"? Is it negative characteristics assuming disrespect? If it is then may be "слабак". "Слабак" per se has nothing common with homosexual or female-like.

"баба" applied to a man usually means improper behavior in negative sense: whiny or hysterical, or gossip addiction.
"Россия для русских" - это неправильно. Остальные-то чем лучше?

I think баба and слабак both fit perfectly.
    Also слюнтяй is good.

    XXXXXX means lack of YYYYYY
слабак - physical strength or courage
    хлюпик - physical strength
доходяга - physical strength (maybe temporarily: in a bad form)
    шибзик/шибздик - constitution
    слюнтяй - courage
    ботан(ик) - socialization
"Россия для русских" - это неправильно. Остальные-то чем лучше?

I disagree. It's not about physical strength only.

Also, I think that дохляк doesn't sound very negative in Варрава's example. It rather sounds... sympathetically. We say дохляк about someone who is physically weak, or, say, doesn't eat enough. Usually there's no disdain in this word.

Шибзик/шибздик sounds very slangish to me. I knew the word, but if someone had asked me what it means, I think I'd say it's insane, crazy... because it reminds me the word "шизофреник".

By the way, here's a perfect example for another couple of good words, "тряпка" and "размазня":

In my opinion, "pansy" typically suggests effeminacy in men (and sometimes, but not always, homosexuality). So баба seems like a good bet. And perhaps трус would work, because "pansy" also has implications of cowardice.

No, трус is just трус (coward); a man who has no courage. Nothing more.

"Трусливая баба"? But indeed, there seems to be no exact equivalent.
I often edit my posts five times or so, after I've sent them. Sorry for any confusion, feel free to correct me.

Hmmm... in a different topic elsewhere on MR, someone quoted a song with the words "Трус не играет в хоккей" -- and I instinctively and immediately thought "Pansies don't play hockey." (Which was before I saw this thread.) In this context, "pansy" just sounds more appropriate to me than the literal translation "coward."

So perhaps one can say that "pansy" is sometimes an appropriate translation for трус, even if трус is not always the correct translation for "pansy."

    NB:

It's completely correct to say "You can watch a video in which the phrase Трус не играет в хоккей is heard, by clicking on this link..."

It's also completely correct to say "You can watch the video in which the phrase Трус не играет в хоккей is heard, by clicking on this link..."

The difference is one of emphasis, not grammar: The first sentence underscores that there are possibly dozens of such videos, out of which the linked video is merely one example; while the second stresses the point that THIS specific video has already been discussed.

I think that "слабак" is the most universal. It can be used literally (a physically weak person) and figuratively (a wuss).

There are also "размазня" and "тюфяк", but they mean mostly "an indecisive person, a pushover".

Да ,читал, но, по всей видимости, недостаточно внимательно. Прошу прощения. И спасибо за исправление.
