    В военной терминологии используют ещё "в шеренгу" (в две/три... шеренги) - это то же, что и в ряд.
    Есть ещё "в колонну" (в колонну по два/три...) - это когда смотрим в затылок стоящему впереди.

    Да, но не обязательно прямо в военной терминологии. На уроках физкультуры, к примеру, такая команда используется постоянно. В спорт-секциях тоже.
