BTW, you wrote in the "baby" thread: What astonishes me in English, is that you often call your noted people, like actors, for instance, even if they are 60 y.o., with names like Billy, Johnny, Jimmy, etc.

These are just neutral names with no sort of significance attached to it. A famous talk show host in his 70's was named Johnny Carson - it's just his name, same as if you said John.
