There is a video called At The Hotel - Russian From Scratch on Youtube. I was quite surprised by the pronunciation of the phrase кредитной картой. The time is 06:03. Do you really pronounce -ой endings like that? I was listening it many times but still I hear it as ы.

Also, in 00:49 the woman says на этот период instead of в этот период (as it is written in the subtitles). Are both variants correct?

Yes. In fluent speech and this case, -о- becomes imprecise vowel, which reminds you "-ы-" (moreover, if spoken clearly and louldy it will be "-а-"). "-й" is spoken fluently also, but I can recognize it. Just "-ы" sounds not like this.

Common stuff in russian, you should be surprised as well that "кредитной" actually sounds like "крИдитной".

As I remember they even write at school transcriptions\ study tasks like кредитной = [кри-ди-тнй] or [кри-ди-тнай].

Notice that while speaking loud (for some assistant writing and so on) it`s usually normal to pronounce words clear like they are written КРЕ-ДИ-Т-НОЙ.
