What is "Эмо моя сесмра" ???

Just started Princeton course and I see this case as an example, without any real explanation given. What case is the above sentence? I know "Это моя сестра" means this is my sister. Totally lost why Princeton sticks the above case in without explanation. Or maybe I missed it? I am on Lesson 6, Chapter 1.

Every single word here is in the nominative case, if that is what you mean.

Do you mean the 'm' letters? That's just how Russian is written in italics: a cursive that reminds handwriting, for example 't' being written kind of 'm'.

I believe this is it, but I have a hard time understanding it when Princeton just threw it in the lesson without much explanation. Maybe I will catch on later in my studies. Thanks.

I'm sure if you read the very early chapters of the book where the alphabet is covered it probably mentions that an italic / hand written t looks like an m.
