    достаточно и хватать?

    Здравствуйте
    В чём разница достаточно и хватать? Например в следующих примерах оба варианта равны по смыслу? И они оба требуют род. падежа?
    Спасибо за помощь!

    мне достаточно денег /мне хватаеь денег.
    мне не дастоточно времени,чтобы прочитать эту книгу сегодня/мне не хватаеь времени,чтобы прочитать эту книгу сегодня.

    Here is my guess
    First of all достаточно is an adverb and хватаеть is a verb.

    достаточно = enough/sufficient
    хватать = to be enough, to be sufficient
    Also depending on context
    хватать = to grab, to seize


    у меня достаточно деньги - I have enough money

    мне хватает денег - I have enough money (the money is sufficient for me)

    У меня нет достаточно времени,чтобы прочитать эту книгу сегодня
    I do not have enough time to buy that book today

    мне не хватает времени,чтобы прочитать эту книгу сегодня.
    There is not enough time for me to buy that book today.
    Я взял палку и нож, мелки и бумагу и направился к холмам.

    "Достаточно" is more official, more polite than "хватит". In all other respects they mean the same.
