I know that there are verbs of speaking/speech (Глаголы речи in Russian) in Wiktionary.

What about глаголы сообщения (verbs about news)?

All I know is that спросить (to ask in the perfective form) is one example of глаголы сообщения. For example, "I ask you if he went to the store." ask implies a piece of information or more specifically a news (or event) "that "some dude went to a certain store".
