    географическое выражение

    Реки берут своё начало....
    и впадают в море....

    which case do I use in впадать?
    some say куда-л.... some others use the sixth case...like впадает в Чёрном море..

    so it would mean that it ENDS in the Black Sea, ...if they used the 4th, like впадает в Амур...it would like that the river still continues...??

    The cases have names you know. The 6th? I presume you mean prepositional.

    the Prepositional case doesn't make much sense
    the Accusative case - makes sense.

    No, that can't be correct, i'm afraid. I think you misinterpret the verb "впадать" in this specified case. "Впадать в" means somewhat of "to flow into" and that's all.

    Verbs have no cases!
    "Впадают" из 3rd person plural from "впадать" -- as for rivers, this means "flow into".
