Thread: Выносить vs переносить

Could you please explain the difference between these words in this context:

Я его не выношу.
Я его не переношу.

In this context there is no significant difference. But the latter expresses more contempt while the former - more suffering (IMHO).

When I was in the army, I knew a guy who used to say, "Я его терпеть ненавижу" .

I can't see any significant difference between "не выношу" and "не переношу", except that the former takes a bit less effort to articulate .

Dear pros, what if I tell you there IS a slight difference? Not that apparent but anyway. =)
