    рушиться/рухнуть

    1. Моя компания рушится постепенно
    2. Он рухнул после того как своя жена покинул его

Always confused with the verb whether is transitive or not.
До сих пор я говорил: Он рухнул-ся . Огромная ошибка
Чем больше слов, тем меньше они стоят.

    1. Ok
    2. 3 mistakes

    1. рухнул is the wrong word. Потух is what you wanted to say.
    2. его жена (not своя). Added: either его or своя sound bad here. You had better omit them at all in this sentence.
    3. покинулА его

The posessives: его vs свой vs собственный issue

You can use either of them, either one will be understandable. The question is whether one will sound more natural than the other. Off the top of my head I can suggest a set of rules that you can use.

    1. Use СВОЯ when it's an object of a phrase. Not a subject.I broke my car = Я сломал СВОЮ машину. My car is the object, not the subject.
My car is carrying me = Моя машина меня везёт. (Now it's a subject, hence it's still "МОЯ")

    2. When his something is an object, still use "ЕГО" when it's an object of an action of something else (not his own action)
Его машину разбили, а его сильно избили. (Someone else acts against his car)
Он разбил свою машину (he himself exerts an action on his car)

    3. When the word "OWN" is important to underline SOMEONE's property or relations, you can use "СОБСТВЕНН ЫЙ/АЯ/ОЕ...". It sounds somewhat bookish and I don't recommend that you overuse it but you must be aware that it's yet another way of saying "СВОЯ" at least to be able to understand it properly. The word can be used either with or instead of "своей" with no difference in meaning.
    - Когда он избил свою собственную дочь, это стало последней каплей. После чего терпение его жены иссякло и она, собрав вещи, сделала ему ручкой.
    - Он пылинки сдувает со своего Лексуса. Когда мы едем на природу, он предпочитает ехать с нами на Ниве. Кто же будет убивать собственную тачку по таким дорогам, когда под рукой такая замена и можно упасть на хвост приятелям...

I have a question on this part -> Does После чего терпение его жены иссякло mean -> After which she lost her patience?[COLOR="#0

иссякло = lost or run out with patience? Or both?

That means that the last ounce of patience she had left is now gone. Therefore it can be tranlated as both lost patience and ran out of patience.

The word иссякнуть is used a lot with water.

Вода в колодце иссякла - Means that there is no more water in the well. It's either all vaporized or soaked into the ground. All in all, иссякнуть conveys quite a long, gradual proccess. Much like "die out" I would assume.

I know рухнуть as "to collapse" (of a person), too.

    тухнуть/потухнуть
I have checked these word but none of them in meaning "collapse". Are they slang or colloquial expressions?

Рушиться может только то, что до этого ПОСТРОЕНО! Maybe differences in language logics, IDK.
A person is not something that had been BUILT before. So I'd not recommend using the word collapse in its literal meaning here.
Рухнуть can be said about plans, hopes, buildings, strategies, etc. Otherwise, choose another word.

I have checked these word but none of them in meaning "collapse".
They actually don't. They mean "lose their willing to live/energy/willpower, etc."

P.S. Another meaning of "рухнуть" of a person is to fall, dump themselves, as if your legs have suddently become boned.
    - Он пришёл с работы и рухнул на кровать как убитый.

But it's not about the psychological state of a person. It's quite physical.

    Уход жены надломил его.

    it is not transitive.
What can be transitive is обрушить:
    Обрушить компанию.
    Обрушить курс валюты.
