Reading an article about the effects of a strong fall of snow I read:
"Только в Южной Каролине за одни сутки было зарегистрировано более 1,5 тысяч аварий".
According with the rules I have it should be
"...более [одной целой] [пяти десятых тысячи] аварий". Since there are "five decimals of one thousand".
Perhaps my rules need some addenda or corrigenda. Can you throw some light in the darkness? Thank you.
