    trapped

The word "trapped" in Russian is for me one of the most challenging to understand.
I found the following related expressions:
But I cannot find anywhere the adjective "trapped" or the participle, in order to build a simple expression: "He feels trapped".
Also how I will say "They have trapped him by making him to sing a deal he couldn't understand"

    "He feels trapped".

"They have trapped him by making him to sing a deal he couldn't understand"

I would also like to add the following expression: устраивать / устроить засаду* = set an ambush

One can "устроить засаду" for everyone/everything (an animal, enemy, potential husband (figuratively) and so on).

"он в эмоциональных крючек" sounds weird and doesn't makes sense at all. I guess all your examples you've found are uncommon and strange.

"He feels trapped" =

To be trapped - быть пойманным, попасть в ловушку/западню.
