    These endings.

Why are the endings in green so? What case are they (Accusative apparently) but why?

    Всю дорогу is an accusative.

In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

Although literally, вся дорога expresses distance, in this context it is a time expression and therefore is in the accusative.

Remember also, only the subject can be in the nominative case.
