Thread: Temporary condition

Hello
In a sentance like "I don't know what to do", would to do be imperfective. Your only looking for something to do for a short period, not permanant, so which case would it take?

Я не знаю, что делать.
Я не знаю, что мне делать.

Because the action is hypothetical I think the imperfective is used.

But it depends on the context:
Не знаю, о чём говорить - I don't know what to talk about (imp.)
Не знаю, что сказать - I don't know what to say (perf.)
