    I would like to ask my friend how long does it take from Moscow to Prague. How do you say take and journey?

    Well, путешествие is usually not just getting from point A to point B, but also do some side activities. Like sightseeing for example. In short путешествие is a somewhat long journey because it either takes an extra effort to get somewhere or because you have another goal in mind for your путешествие (Like sightseeing, taking pictures, science research and etc etc)
