I wrote Можно говорите мне wrong. I wanted to mean "Можете вы говорить мне." I thought that off days can also be called "каникулы". But apparently cant

I always confuse the transative/intransitive concept in Russian. How can I distinguish between them? Thanks alot.

Do I understand it right:

1-поехать к морю : Means to go to a place for both the sea and sight seeing
2-поехать на море : Means ony to go to a place for the sea (just for swimming and sunbathing)
