I would say the most common equivalent would be "действительно". I'm sure there will be other suggestions, too.
I would use a different word in each of your examples, though.
"I really love that shirt!"
"Do you really think that?" - "Ты действительно так думаешь?" but, "Ты правда так думаешь?" sounds better, I think. Right, Olya?
"Where did she really go?"
No really!
What about "Я так люблю эту рубашку." ?Quote:

(Sarcastically)
I really love that shirt -
Do you really think that?
Where did she really go?
А is optional.
Quote:

If you say "I really love this shirt" meaning that you love it a whole lot, then it would be "Мне очень нравится эта рубашка" "Мне так нравится эта рубашка", suggested by shadow1, works too.
If you use "really" to make it clear that your liking is genuine and not fake or feigned, then you can say "Мне действительно/по настоящему нравится эта рубашка"
Quote:

:evil:Quote:

Yes it's used quite commonly when you encounter something (usually bad) that you had anticipated and/or warned about.Quote:

Or a joke (I translated it into English to rule out misunderstaning):
(Soviet times, early morning)
A Foreigner lurches his way to the beer kiosk (there were kiosks that sold only beer, but usually there weren't any since people used to buy it all very quickly). He and his Russian friends were drinking much for the three last days, he feels awful, but he was the only one able to move that morning. So his co-drinkers sent him to get some beer, but the difficulty is - he doesn't speak Russian at all. So they wrote two simple phrases on a sheet of paper so he could read them into the kiosk window.
He tries to focus his eyes on it and finally asks:
Peevoh est'? - Do you have beer) and the man in kiosk answers - НЕТ
He looks closely at paper and reads:
- Blyad', yah tak ee znal! (Б. - F.ck, I knew that/thought so)
Or "так я и думал".
For something that is usually bad? What about just everyday conversations like:Quote:

"I didn't really understand what the teacher was talking about in class."
"Yeah, I thought so, too."
The later being just an expression of agreement. Would both these instances be expressed in "я так и думал"?
If I am told that my wife has gone to a store I'd feel really bad just from the thought of all that money she could have spent there :DQuote:

Я тоже.
Этого учителя вообще невозможно понять.
Я тоже так думаю.
Надо искать другого учителя.
Я тоже об этом подумал.
Very interesting, thanks guys. :)
And what if it's positive?
F.ex.:
(two people looking at an unsigned painting)
A - This painting is unsigned, but is was painted by X.
B - (delighted) I thought so!! It's beautiful!
:?:
"how do you would"??? Where are you from? :oQuote:
