    Question on Gender Phrases

Hello. I know that in Russian there is the male way to say things to people as there is the female way. My question is, if you're saying "Вы хороший человек", does this apply to men and women? Does человек mean person and man? I know there is another way of saying this: "Вы хорошая женщина", would this be more accurate/appropriate to say to women, or is the first one just fine?

    Будет правильным сказать:

    Марина, ты хороший человек.
    Дима, ты хороший человек.
    Thanks for correcting me.
