Thread: Question about time

I think this is correct:

Я встаю в полвосмого

But is this longer form also correct?

Я встаю в половину восмого

(And is the 'у' ending correct?)

Я встаю в полвосьмого.
Я встаю в половине/у восьмого. Both '-у' and '-е' are correct.
AFAIR different cases are possible because of numericals, but I am not sure.

I'm really not sure "в половину восьмого" is correct. I'd avoid this form.
