    Антонио, полил (поливать/полить) is "to water" as in "to pour water on plants". Very garden-ish meaning.
    Not "to pour". Do you want to water my tea?

    Когда я еду в автомобильную заправочную станцию я лью бензин / дизел в машину.
    Правильно?
    Кстати у вас нет короче слово для gas station
    Чем больше слов, тем меньше они стоят.

    АЗС\ Авто Заправочная Станция \ "Заправка"

    Заправляю машину бензином \ дизелем. Заливаю бензин \ дизель.
