    At / this / next / last weekend

    I have a problem to say correct phrases with "weekend".

    I am going to my grandpa at weekend.

    в выходные
    на выходные

    I am going to my grandpa this weekend.

    в этот выходные
    на этот выходные

    I was at my grandpa last weekend.

    в прошлом выходные
    на прошлом выходные

    I will go to my grandpa next weekend.

    в следуюшем выходные
    на следуюшем выходные

    First of all "выходные" is plural. It means usually last 2 days of the week, so it is plural.
    "Выходной" is one of these days ("day off").
    So:
    'этот -> эти (for both)
    в прошлом выходные -> в прошлые выходные
    на прошлом выходные -> на прошлых выходных
    в следуюшем выходные -> в следующие выходные
    на следуюшем выходные -> на следующих выходных

    Both "в" and "на" are applicable.
    "на" has extra info "during all weekend period".

    Nice.

    I have one more question on the prepositions.

    На эти выходные поеду к моему дедушке = for the whole weekend (Saturday + Sunday).
    В эти выходные поеду к моему дедушке = ???

    В эти выходные поеду к моему дедушке. This would mean that you're planning to go to your grandfather on one of your day-offs, usually Saturday or Sunday. I'd personally say it a bit different though. На (этих) выходных поеду к дедушке, but I think it's all alright.

    I do not claim that my opinion is absolutely true.
    If you've spotted any mistake in my English, please, correct it. I want to be aware of any mistakes to efficiently eliminate them before they become a habit.

    Oh, I forgot this case.

    Note the difference between "на выходные" and "на выходных".
    "на выходные" = "for the whole weekend". It is "for the period of time".
    "на выходных" = "in some (maybe not known yet) moment of time during weekend". This is the same as "в" in the examples above!
    Grammatical case rules the role of the word in the sentence here.
