меня - like "me ama"
мне - like "me compra"

меня - objeto directo. меня понимаешь = me entiendes
мне - objeto indirecto. мне нравиться es lo mismo como decir "a mi me gusta."

Pero tambien hay muchas excepciones y hay que tratarlas por separado.
