Thread: invoice and receipt of payment

In the countries I have worked there are two documents that enable transactions:
1. Invoice = description of the products a buyer has received with its total cost
2. Receipt of Payment = when the buyer gives the last payement (settle up his payment)
I suppose in the Russia the same.
How are called these documents?

1.счет-фактура and накладная
2.подтверждение платежа

According to Wiki "invoice" does not exist in Russia. The closest thing to it is called "счёт на оплату" but it's not a common document.
Receipt is called "кассовый чек" if it's printed on a cash register. If it's hand written it would be called "квитанция"

I guess the only official document you could make and that could work work in Russia for you clients is "кассовый чек", because everything else supposed to be stamped with an official stamp of a company, which I doubt you even have.

Счет - самый что ни на есть типичный документ и печать на нем не обязательна хотя и может ставиться.

Квитанции и кассовые чеки применяются при розничной торговле и оказании услуг за наличный расчет в основном при расчетах с населением, но и с юридическими лицами они тоже используются опять же при наличных расчетах, и никогда не применяются при банковских безналичных перечислениях.

No, such word can't be used for invoice. There is "отчет по продажам" but it's never given to clients, since it's used only for internal (not sure if it is the correct English word) documentation inside companies.

What for? Should I write once again that in Russia clients (companies) get two documents at the same time: накладная and счет-фактура in which one can find "description of the products a buyer has received with its total cost". I gave the correct answer to the OP question. Citizens don't get счета-фактуры because they don't need to calculate VAT.

Когда я работал торговой фирме, у нас был принят следующий порядок:
1. Клиенту выписывается счет на оплату.
2. Клиент оплачивает (безналично) и в качестве подтверждения факта оплаты показывает копию платежного поручения.
3. Товар выдаётся со склада, при этом выписываются такие документы, как счёт-фактура и товарная накладная.
Что из этого invoice, а что receipt - решайте сами, я думаю так:
Invoice - счет на оплату,
Receipt - копия платежного поручения.

Какая рзница мехду: подтверждения платежа и квитации об оплате

i think квитанция is usually a slip with signature on it (usually a bank clerk gives it to the client)

подтверждение is any official confirmation of payment in different forms.
