Yes, I had the opposite problem on another board I frequent, a Russian correcting my English.

бегать
лечь
maybe the печь/жечь type verbs.
then there's the really oddball one of родиться, the only second conj. verb where the past-tense stress falls (or fell, it's old fashioned now, but was normal when I started learning Russian) on the final syllable.

the ова/у verbs are not irregular - there is a simple rule to describe them all.

чавкать - я чавкаю, я буду чавкать
тупить - я туплю, я буду тупить :о)
харкать - я харкаю, я буду харкать

одним словом, проще купить такую книжку )

Hold on guys. I think he is asking for GROUPS of verbs, as in ones that conjugate in the same pattern, and then some important irregular verbs (есть, дать etc.)

We don't need to list verbs like
чавкать - я чавкаю

Since it is a normal regular -ать verb.

Есть профессиональные книжки по этому вопросу.. По-моему лучше потратить пару баксов и купить такую книжкУ, чем спрашивать у дилетантов :)

That book isn't that good. Since it only helps you on a verb for verb basis it doesn't really teach you to think for yourself.

I think it's best to learn verbs in groups based on how they decline.

Like you start with the easy, common regular groups like the знать type.

Then you go to more specific groups like
-овать / -евать

-нуть

etc.

Не знаю!

Потому что у него излишек денег. Надо как-нибудь тратить их.

TATY better say: Я купил [эту] книгу, но я никогда её не читаю.
basurero say that like: Потому что у него слишком много денег or Потому что у него есть лишние деньги. Надо же их как-нибудь тратить!

Yes, sometimes they get sick of you and can't be bothered...

"Я купил книгу, но я никогда её не читаю" sounds weird to me. "не читал" sounds much better.

I think most grammars have verb charts...
