Can you follow the rule: for "some X" use genitive. ? This would be like the Partitive Genitive.

This would seem to be why it is correct to use both in the sentences. With no context, either is possible.

I meant молоко is the only option in that particular sentense

I'm mostly looking for explanations on why genitive is used/not used in any of these particular sentences.
Or in what situations genitive tends to get used more, if both are posssible.
