Perhaps you guys can help me with an issue that continuously baffles me to this day.
I want to know how to say "first aider" in Russian. I remembered a specific term that someone told me, but I forgot it.
Of course I'm not talking about фельдшер (paramedic), or медик (which is apparently an umbrella term that can also mean doctor in Russian). I am not really a first aider, I have the same training as a low-level army medic, basic stuff that I took 3 months course for. So, given the choice, I wouldn't really call it a first-aider either (it's the closest term I can think of for you to understand me). In English I'd call it "medic". In Hebrew we have an equivalent term, which perfectly describes my level. What would you recommend I'd use in Russian?
