    Electric plug

    What do you call the thing in the wall into which I plug my computer to get power?

    электрическая вилка? (That is what the translator is giving me, but it sounds a bit odd to me)

    Вилка is a plug at the end of the wire.
    Розетка is a socket in the wall into which you insert the plug.
