    You're wrong. We say "Я пойду купить еды", not "Я пойду покупать еду". Yes, second sounds more correct, but I've never heard someone speaking that way. I would probably consider him a robot.
    I know it's "MR" not "ME", but still: fix my english mistakes, please!

    Да, иногда перевод некоторых выражений с русского на английский звучит, например для американцев, грубее, чем те же выражения звучат на русском. Скажите американцу "Correct it, please" и он тут же бежит на тебя жаловаться: "She gives me orders". Надо бы сказать "Could you please correct it?".
    Или русскоязычная секретарша посылает всем и-мэйл: "Would you please come to the meeting at 1:30 pm." Все в тревоге собираются у боса: "What's happening?". Would прозвучало угрожающе, как вызов "на ковёр".
