In most cases not, but in theory it could. I mean, they could work out from the context what you mean.

Also Russian is not a "declensional language", the correct term for this is "an inflected language" or "a highly inflected language" in Russian's case.

Thanks for your reply, I just want to add that "declension" means "grammatical inflection", so I guess it makes no difference to say "inflected" instead of "declensional".

I was merely informing you of the proper word. "Declensional" is something you made up. I could call Russian a "casechangey language", but it doesn't mean it's right.
